People from around North County gathered for the Mission San Luis Rey's 11th annual Inter-Tribal Powwow. The event featured local Indian communities' food, dance, music and art. Also, representatives of the Apache, Navajo and Sac-N Fox nations from other parts of the country performed during competitive dancing each day. More than 7,000 people were expected during the weekend.
