Sporting her gold medal from the 2008 Olympics, Rachel Buehler, a member of the U.S. Women's National soccer team, leads the Pledge of Allegiance on Friday at Pacific Rim Elementary in Carlsbad. Buehler, who graduated from Torrey Pines High School and played collegiately at Stanford, was making her second trip to the campus to visit students.
