VISTA -- The North County Chapter of Amnesty International will host a public screening of the film "Justice Without Borders" at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1600 Buena Vista Drive in Vista.

Produced in 2007 by Amnesty International USA and Skylight Pictures, the 37-minute documentary explores the global movement seeking justice and accountability for perpetrators of the most grave human rights abuses. The evening is designed to raise awareness and mobilize action for international justice and human rights.

The local Amesty International chapter has assembled a panel of responders who, after their own brief statements, will engage the audience in a question-and-answer dialogue to explore reactions to the film.

Refreshments will be served.

A suggested $10 donation ($8 for students) will be accepted at the door. Part of the proceeds will be donated to a Carlsbad High School student film group to help finance their documentary on genocide and their upcoming trip to the Dachau concentration camp site in Germany.
