Flower Fields seeking volunteers for tours
CARLSBAD -- The Flower Fields in Carlsbad is seeking volunteers to lead tours for preschoolers to sixth-graders from March through April. Training sessions will take place in March. Escondido Municipal Gallery exhibit opens Jan. 8
ESCONDIDO -- The Escondido Municipal Gallery's one-month exhibit of black and white photos starts Jan. 8 in the Inner Space Gallery. Bird count walks monthly at Batiquitos Lagoon
CARLSBAD -- The Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation will host easy, docent-led bird counting walks at 7:30 a.m. the second Friday of every month. The walks will start from the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation Nature Center parking lot, at the end of Gabbiano Lane on the border between Oceanside and Carlsbad. Filmmaker to discuss autism film
ESCONDIDO -- Lori Ciccarelli, creator of the documentary "JJ's Journey: A Journey about Autism," will speak during a presentation on autism at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Escondido Adventist Academy, 1301 Deodar Road. Line Dancing classes at two senior centers
