Boy Scouts Troop 667 cleared a large swath of debris from land owned by St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Rancho Penasquitos recently in preparation for creating a church vegetable garden. Pictured, front row: Jordan Blackman, left, Todd Stone, Carter Andrews, Andrew Mallrich and Ryan Bulley. Back row: Yash Huilgol, left, Ralph Peters, Mark Mallrich, Mark Bulley, Trey Rowe and Evan Peters. The Scouts used shovels, rakes, pitchforks and wheelbarrows to remove invasive plants and apply a foot of mulch. E-mail scoutmaster@troop667.info.
