ESCONDIDO ---- The family of missing girl Amber Dubois will hold a birthday picnic and vigil Sunday at Dixon Lake park.
A potluck lunch will begin at 1:30 p.m. and a lakeside vigil will begin at 6 p.m., the family announced Wednesday.
The event is open to the public. People are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks or bring food to share.
Amber, 14, has been missing since Feb. 13 when she was last seen walking to school in Escondido. Dixon Lake is at 1700 N. La Honda Drive, Escondido. For more information visit, www.bringamberhome.com.
