ESCONDIDO -- The Downtown Business Association will present two free concerts Saturday evening on Kalmia Street at Grand Avenue.

The concerts, local jazz band Smoke Staxx at 5 p.m. and Indie/acoustic artist Mike Chartrand at 7 p.m., will take place in conjunction with the association's Second Saturday Art Walk.

More than 25 artists, galleries and museums will host receptions and put on demonstrations during the art walk, which runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
