ESCONDIDO ---- A Swedish tourist who was found dead last month after a going for a jog on a hot day in a rural area north of Escondido died of heat exposure, according to the San Diego County medical examiner's office.
Reza Lavasani Dana, 33, was on vacation and staying with a friend when the two went jogging about midday on July 15. The friend lost sight of Dana and reported him missing a few hours later.
Authorities found his body four days later at the bottom of a ravine on the side of Mountain Meadow Road.
His death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner's office.
