ESCONDIDO - A large sinkhole developed Friday night after a water main broke at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Quince Street, police Sgt. Eric Distel said Friday.
The sinkhole, estimated to be 15 feet by 15 feet, caused traffic to be diverted to one lane on each street and may cause further delays today, Distel said.
