NORTH COUNTY -- A team of law enforcement agents from all over San Diego County will be targeting alcohol-related crimes Friday in Fallbrook, a sheriff's lieutenant said.

Roving patrols and a checkpoint, the location of which was not disclosed, will be used to catch drunken drivers, Lt. Phil Brust said. Members of the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol, San Diego County Probation and the San Diego, Oceanside, Escondido, National City, Chula Vista and Coronado police departments will participate, Brust said.

The enforcement is funded with a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
