SAN MARCOS —— Morita Llenes Reyes, 72, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at a local hospital.
Born May 3, 1933, in Tabango Leyte, Philippine Islands, she lived in San Marcos for one year. She lived in Mira Mesa previously. She was a homemaker for seven years. She owned a business in the Philippines previously.
Mrs. Reyes was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Llenes Cortes, Nov. 17, 2005. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Renante "Randy" and Cecilia Reyes of San Marcos; daughter-in-law Rowena Noval Cortes of San Marcos; brother Maximo Llenes of the Philippines; and grandchildren Gilrey, Gilliam and Rynon.
Viewing is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. and rosary recited at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 20, at Allen Bros. Mortuary, San Marcos Chapel, 435 N. Twin Oaks Valley Road in San Marcos. VISTA —— Ronald Lee Morgan, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at Tri-City Medical Center.
Born Oct. 18, 1935, in Spirit Lake, Iowa, he lived in Vista for 51 years. He was a manager at Network Storage Capital Inc.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Morgan, Oct. 24, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Benita L. Morgan of Vista; mother Betty Morgan of Milford, Iowa; sons and daughters-in-law Patrick and Jaci Morgan of San Marcos and Ray "Pete" and Mirang Morgan of Fremont; daughter Michaelene Beckwith of Oceanside; sisters and brother-in-law Kathy Griffin of San Marcos and Sandy and Gale Igou of Spencer, Iowa; grandchildren Denene, Lynn, Joshua, Candace, Sheana, Tawny, Jade, Jessica, Jannessa and Paige; and four great-grandchildren.
His cremains will be scattered at sea.

Born May 13, 1929, in Willow Springs, Mo., she lived in Oceanside for 51 years. She was a member of the Tri-City Baptist Church and the Daughters of the Nile in San Diego.
Mrs. Bernhard is survived by her husband of 36 years, Raymond Bernhard of Oceanside; son Donald Dean McGovern of Oceanside; brothers Ernest E. Peddicord of Klammath Falls, Ore., and Roland Dale Peddicord of Des Moines, Iowa; and grandchild Shawn.

FALLBROOK —— Stella Sanzo, 89, died of natural causes, Friday, Dec. 16, 2005.
Born July 16, 1926, in Southbend, Ind., she lived in Fallbrook for 10 years. She was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines for 24 years. She helped transport Vietnam military personnel, when she was injured.
Mrs. Sanzo is survived by her husband, Sonny C. Sanzo; son and daughter-in-law Jay and Christine Sanzo of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law Sonnie and Ken Lowden of Acton; brother Lottie Paschal of Phoenix; grandchildren Dustin, Hidi, Keriann, Katherine, Sara and Rebecca.

OCEANSIDE —— Ramiro Gonzalez Gonzalez, 48, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, in Oceanside.
He was born April 14, 1957, in Mexico.
Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Gonzalez in December 2002. He is survived by his father, Ramiro Gonzalez Sr. of Vista; daughter and son-in-law Rosalia and Fernando Castro of Escondido; brothers Ricardo Gonzalez, Reyes Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, Rogelio Gonzalez and Roberto Gonzalez, all of San Diego County; and sister Rosalbia of Escondido.

ESCONDIDO —— Arthur James Lovell, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Sharp Coronado Hospital.
Born May 6, 1918, in San Diego, he lived in San Diego County for 66 years. He was a field mechanic for the state of California Department of Transportation. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1936 to 1940. He was a member of the Merchant Marines during World War II. He enjoyed racing midget cars. He was a tourist travel racer in the "Outlaw Motorcycle Club." He enjoyed motorcycles and gardening.
Mr. Lovell was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur G. and Dora G. Lovell; wife Lilla "Maudie" Lovell; sister Georgiana Lovell; and son Arthur J. Lovell Jr. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Arthur G. and Pam Lovell of Oregon; stepson Earl Grigsby of Springfield, Ore.; daughter Kathleen Lovell of Alaska; stepdaughters Catherine Jackson of Ramona and Loretta Drown of San Diego; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SAN MARCOS —— Lorraine Hebert Johnson, 83, died of chronic respiratory disease, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at her daughter's home.
Born Nov. 13, 1922, in Hartford, Conn., she lived in San Marcos for eight years. She retired in 1990 from the medical field. She was a member of the Busy Bee's Women's Club. She helped raise funds for college bound students.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford George Johnson, in 1970. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Harold and Pam Johnson of Melbourne, Fla., and Lawrence Nolan and Mona Johnson of Largo, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law Carolanne and Arthur Roe of Oceanside; grandchildren Tammy, Kimberly, Kelly, Christopher and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the First Congregational Church, 1800 N. Broadway in Escondido with the Rev. John Roberts officiating. A reception will follow at the Fellowship Hall at the church.

ESCONDIDO —— Jim Creasman, 64, died of asthma, Friday, Dec. 16, 2005.
Born Jan. 1, 1941, in North Carolina, he lived in Escondido for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He retired after 38 years with Pacific Bell as an intercommunications technician. He was an avid photographer for more than 25 years. He was interested in American Indian studies and art.
Mr. Creasman is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorie Creasman of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law Don and Torri Creasman of Escondido; daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Johnny Montoya of Escondido; sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Glen Moretz of Arlington, Texas, Kathy and Todd Nye of Knoxville, Tenn., and Barbara and Jerry Hammonds of Kingsport, Tenn.; and grandchildren Dominique, Johnny III, Jasmine, Kachiri and James.

Born Jan. 4, 1916, in Independence, Mo., she lived in Escondido for one year. She lived in Cottonwood, Ariz., previously. She was a deli manager at a grocery store for 40 years.
Mrs. Shedd was preceded in death by her husband, William Shedd, in 1986; and granddaughter Diane Vandaveer in 2004. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dee and David Cochran of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law Bill and Anne Shedd of Payson, Ariz.; grandchildren Kyle, Chris, Kim and Sandra; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Born Nov. 9, 1908, in DeKalb, Ill., she lived in San Diego County since 1971. She was a bookkeeper for Russell G. Smith Garage for about six years.
Mrs. LaMarquis is survived by her close friend, Nannette Longsworth of San Marcos.

Born June 7, 1959, in San Francisco, she lived in San Diego County for 31 years. She was a nursing assistant. She was disabled due to back surgeries. She graduated with honors from Sand Diego Mesa College Nursing Department in 1991.
Ms. Biggers was preceded in death by her father, Robert Biggers, in 1987; and sister Mary Biggers in 1958. She is survived by her mother, Joan Biggers of Escondido; sisters and brother-in-law Angie and Fred Hauth of Oceanside and Christine Biggers of Eureka; and many nieces and nephews.

Born July 27, 1923, in New York City, he lived in Poway for 34 years. He was an engineering manager and community college instructor. He was a member of the Merchant Marines during World War II and received full military honors. He enjoyed collecting stamps, coins, the violin, gymnastics and languages.
Mr. Koniges is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Koniges of Poway; sons and daughters-in-law Frank Charles Koniges and Kathleen O'Banion of Haddonfield, N.J., and Jeffrey Alan and Judith Koniges of Chapel Hill, N.«.; daughter and son-in-law Alice Koniges and David Eder of Livermore; and eight grandchildren.

Born Sept. 20, 1923, in Chicago, he lived in Oceanside for 27 years. He retired as a real estate appraiser in 1993. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Mr. Hollister is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Brown Hollister; daughters Lynn Chaney, Janice Carlson and Licia Van Engelen; and grandsons Brett Wilson, Brandon Trayer, Nicholas De Piazza and Christopher De Piazza.

Verner Winslow, 86
OCEANSIDE —— Verner D. Winslow, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at his home.
Born May 11, 1919, in Beaver City, Neb., he lived in Oceanside for 64 years. He built airplanes at Convair Corps at Lindberg Field in San Diego. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 83rd Infantry Training Battalion at Camp Roberts and Fort Benning. He was a member of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, where he was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus member. He was a member of the Ben-Ziri caravan of the Order of Alhambra, the Oceanside Elks Lodge and the American Legion Post 365 of Vista. He was a troubleshooting engineer for General Dynamics Corp. He enjoyed horticulture, photography, reading and flying. He won prizes for his flowers.
Mr. Winslow is survived by his wife, Gertrude of Oceanside; daughter Verla Winslow of Chico; son and daughter-in-law John and Kathy Winslow of El Granada; and grandsons Jonathan, Michael and Justin Winslow.
The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 20, at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Oceanside. A reception will follow at 11 a.m. at the church hall.

Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Elvan D. Lane of Bonsall; son Gary Lane of Hemet; daughter and son-in-law Nancee and Marc Revere of San Marcos; grandchildren Traci, Dan, Casey and Jenni; and one great-grandson.

Mrs. Rosaluk was preceded in death by her first husband, John G. Atyim, in 1966; and second husband Walter Rosaluk in 1983. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Veronica and John Sciaretti of West Homestead, Pa.; sons and daughters-in-law Paul J. and Suzy Atyim of Palm Desert, John G. Atyim of Redondo Beach, and Robert D. and Carmen Atyim of Fallbrook; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Born March 17, 1959, in France, he lived in Murrieta for five years. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed photography, motocross and the outdoors. He graduated second in his class at Castlemont High School in Oakland.

SUN CITY —— Margaret "June" Perry, 78, died of natural causes, Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at her home.
Born June 19, 1927, in Apponaug, R.I., she lived in Sun City for 13 years. She was a member of Delta Theta Chi Sorority and the Sun City Swim Club. She performed 10 years in the Sun City Aquarians annual swim show. She was a volunteer reading tutor at Chester Morrison Elementary School and at the Sun City Library.
Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bernard Perry. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Margaret Perry of Fullerton; daughter, Anne Perry of Costa Mesa; and granddaughter Dominique.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. and rosary recited at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 20, at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in Sun City.

Virginia Walker
Virginia Walker went home to be with the Lord, December 15, 2005, after a brief battle with ovarian cancer. She was at her home in Sun City.
Virginia was born in Denver, Colorado, on July 3, 1918. She was one of five children and her brother, Bob, survives her. She and her husband, Ed, were married 58 years before he died in 2001. They had a turkey ranch in Elsinore for over 40 years. They had three daughters, Linda (Jim) Barlogio of Corona, Suzy (Wil) Howe of Simpsonville, So. Carolina, and Sally (Bob) Hanks of Sun City. There are seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Virginia felt a strong desire to tell everyone of her love for the Lord. She was a Sunday school teacher for 50-plus years, belonged to Christian Women's Club and was a reading tutor with G.R.E.A.T. program at Ridgemoor Elementary in Sun City.
Virginia donated her body to Loma Linda Anatomy Department hoping in some way someone would be helped through it. In lieu of flowers, her favorite charities were Voice of Christ Ministries, P.O. Box 474, Nenana, Alaska 99760-0474, and Wycliffe Bible Translators, P.O. Box 628200, Orlando FL 32862.
Memorial services will be held at Canyon Lake Community Church on December 19, at 11 a.m.

Born March 12, 1959, in Medina, N.Y., he lived in Vista for many years. He worked for the UPS for 21 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years.

Mrs. Rall was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Rall, in 1999; and daughter Shirley McGehee in 1994.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Richard Fowler of Escondido; sister Erma Gramm of Mountain Home, Ark.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Oak Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. William Vogelsang officiating.
