Paul Neumeyer, 81

LAKE SAN MARCOS - Paul Dwight Neumeyer, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at his home.

Born July 21, 1925, in Alta Vista, Kan., he lived in Lake San Marcos since 1989. He retired in 1986 as vice president and chief financial officer of Jurgensen's markets.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was in the banking business. He was a member of the Pasadena Rotary Club and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow. He served three terms as president of the Lake San Marcos Mall Association. He was a member of the Meadowlark Community Church. He enjoyed golfing and boating at Lake San Marcos.

Mr. Neumeyer is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis L. Neumeyer of Lake San Marcos; son and daughter-in-law Lawrence "L.D." and Gina Neumeyer of San Diego; and sisters Dorothy Murry of Tustin and Joanne Potter of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Meadowlark Community Church in San Marcos with the Revs. Dr. Dave Shaw and Jake Duran officiating. Private cremation and inurnment at Meadowlark Community Church is planned.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Meadowlark Community Church Building Fund, 1918 Redwing St., San Marcos, CA 92078, or the San Diego Hospice and Palliative Care, 4311 Third Ave., San Diego, CA 92103.

Milton Boatwright, 45

OCEANSIDE - Milton Ray Boatwright, 45, drowned Thursday, June 29, 2006.

Born July 11, 1960, in Houston, he lived in Oceanside for 22 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an E3 lance corporal. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Houston.

Mr. Boatwright is survived by his mother, Audrey Cole of Alleyton, Texas; sons Taronta Boatwright and Terrell Boatwright; brothers Dennis Hanks and Authur Cole, both of Houston; and sister Denise Saunders of Rancho Cucamonga.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Houston National Memorial in Houston.

Mary Pisciotta, 71

RANCHO SANTA FE - Mary Flave Pisciotta, 71, died of breast cancer, Monday, July 17, 2006.

She was born June 16, 1935. She was a co-owner and broker of AMF Properties in Rancho Santa Fe and specialized in horse properties in North San Diego County. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from USC, where she was a member of Theta Sorority.

She was a member of the Junior League Investment Group, the Rancho Santa Fe Literary Society, the OMUG Computer Group and the Olivenhain Garden Club. She wrote a bimonthly column call Hoof Beats for the Rancho Santa Fe Review.

She was a mounted marshal for the Equestrian Three-Day Event at Fairbanks Ranch. She was a member of the West Hills Hunt in Los Angeles, the Santa Fe Hunt in San Diego, the Pathfinder Show Barn, the Twin Oaks Valley Equestrian Association and the San Diego Polo Club. She was a volunteer mounted Park Ranger for San Diego County.

Mrs. Flave is survived by her husband, Alex Pisciotta Jr; stepdaughters Karen Pue of San Antonio, Kathryn Pisciotta of Buford, Ga., and Marykay Pisciotta of Rancho Santa Fe; son David Reed of West Los Angeles; daughter Stephanie Houge of West Los Angeles; brother Peter Bilheimer of Savanna, Ga.; and six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Moores' UCSD Cancer Center, c/o Pamela Werner, 3855 Health Sciences Drive, La Jolla, CA 92093: Research fund of Dr. Barbara Parker.

Interment at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in Point Loma is planned.

Christopher Fuimaono, 19

OCEANSIDE - Christopher Joseph Fuimaono, 19, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006.

He was born March 25, 1987, and lived in Oceanside all his life. He worked at Wall Street Financial in Carlsbad. He played karate, soccer, T-Ball and hockey. He was a Little League baseball national champion.

He was most outstanding lifeguard in 1998 and 2000. He won a Pop Warner football Lil Scholars Award. He played freshman basketball, football and baseball. He was defensive player of the year 2002 in high school.

He was a high school talent show winner for 2002 and 2003. He had a GPA 4.0 high honor award, the presidential award and honorable mention student of the year for first through eight grade.

Christopher is survived by his mother and stepfather, Leah and Augustin Zamora of Oceanside; father Ikoke Matautia of Oceanside; and sister Kyla Zamora of Oceanside.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Eternal Hills Mortuary, 1999 El Camino Real in Oceanside.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Pauline Krok, 65

FALLBROOK - Pauline R. Krok, 65, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006.

Born Feb. 14, 1941, in Chicago, she lived in Fallbrook for 29 years. She retired after 15 years as a certified nursing assistant for Fallbrook Hospice. She enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing and her family.

Mrs. Krok is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ed Krok of Fallbrook; daughter and son-in-law Misty and Robert Dahl of Fallbrook; sons and daughter-in-law Eddie Krok and David and Jamie Krok, all of Fallbrook; sister and brother-in-law Pat Langford and Ed Koziel of Chetek, Wis.; brothers and sisters-in-law Rick Langford and Leroy and Nancy Langford, all of Victorville, and Bill and Leslie Langford of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. today, Aug. 9, at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. Private cremation is planned.

Maria Moreno, 62

ESCONDIDO - Maria C. Moreno, 62, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006.

Born May 21, 1944, in Mesillas, Zac. Mexico, she lived in Escondido for two years. She retired in 2002 from Browns Plants. She was a member of St. Marks Marriage Ministry.

Mrs. Moreno is survived by her husband of 42 years, Francisco Moreno of Escondido; sons and daughter-in-law Felix and Sylvia Moreno of Murrieta, Daniel Moreno and Ruben Moreno, both of Escondido; daughters and sons-in-law Susana Moreno and Ruben Hernandez of Escondido, Angelica and Juan Lopez of Valley Center, and Elvia and Ruben Meraz of San Marcos; brother and sister-in-law Mario and Teresa Sandoval of San Marcos; sisters and brothers-in-law Bertha and Vincente Garcia of San Marcos and Lupe and Ignacio Arellano and Maria and Felipe Zamora, all of Vista; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation and viewing with rosary recited are scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel, 1999 El Camino Real in Oceanside.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 525 E. Vista Way, in Vista.

Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Michael Hartman, 52

VALLEY CENTER - Michael Hartman, 52, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006.

Born Dec. 17, 1953, in La Mesa, he lived in Valley Center for six months. He was the owner of Straight Up Roofing.

Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Hartman, in 2005.

He is survived by his wife of six months, Jennifer Hartman of Valley Center; father and stepmother Robert and Betty Hartman of Dewey, Ariz.; daughters and son-in-law Kasey and Jimmy Haynes of Lake Morena, Jennifer Hartman and fiancee John Davic of El Cajon, and Jody Hartman of El Cajon; stepdaughters and stepson-in-law Melissa and Billy Tanksley of Oceanside, Danielle Lynch of Rancho Bernardo and Kaley Prudham of Valley Center; brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and Karen Hartman of Ramona and Rick and Colleen Hartman of Maui, Hawaii; sister and brother-in-law Sue and Greg Goehring of Springfield, Va.; and step-grandson Wil.

Marsha Coleman, 59

ESCONDIDO - Marsha Wangsness Coleman, 59, died of leukemia, Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at the City of Hope in Duarte.

Born Nov. 27, 1946, in San Diego, she lived in Escondido for 10 years. She was a member of the Valley Center Republican Women's Club and the Santa Margarita Women's Golf Club. She was a 2005 Castle Creek Women's golf champion.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband of 28 years, Frederick Coleman of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law David and Kristen Dennis of San Diego; daughter and son-in-law Shea and August Fluegge Jr. of Valley Center; brother Mark Wangsness of Pahoa, Hawaii; sister and brother-in-law Kim and Paul Consol of Guinda; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Grace Lutheran Church in Escondido.

Hermelinda Ragudo, 76

OCEANSIDE - Hermelinda Ocegueda Ragudo, 76, died of a stroke, Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside.

Born Oct. 21, 1929, in Etzatlan, Mexico, she lived in Oceanside for 43 years.

Mrs. Ragudo is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Raul and Mariah Ragudo and Abraham A. Ragudo, all of Oceanside, and Jaime and Veronica Ragudo of Escondido; daughters and sons-in-law Arminda and John Ruiz, Cristina and Mitch Maynard and Anna and David Lashinsky, all of Oceanside, and Julie and Rick Sturk of Laguna Hills; brother Jesus Ocegueda; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Inurnment is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside.

Vernon Dingley, 85

CARLSBAD - Vernon George Dingley, 85, died of natural causes, Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, in Vista.

He was born April 24, 1921, in Payette, Idaho. He retired in 1976 as a postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Army as a first lieutenant during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the Silver Star. He was a member of the 3rd Armored Division Association and the Christ Presbyterian Church in Rancho La Costa.

Mr. Dingley is survived by his wife of 62 years, Verna Dingley of Carlsbad; sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Cathie Dingley of El Monte, James and Linda Dingley of Yuma, Ariz., and Richard and Kathie Dingley of San Diego; sister June McClellan of Everett, Wash.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Christ Presbyterian Church of Rancho La Costa, 7807 Centella Ave. in La Costa.

James Flood, 45

VALLEY CENTER - James Dean Flood, 45, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006.

Born May 20, 1961, in Chicago, he lived in Valley Center for six years. He was a digital printing operator. He enjoyed playing the guitar and collecting Jimmy Hendrix collectables.

Mr. Flood is survived by his mother, Neva Jane Barnard of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother Bill Warren of Las Vegas; sister Tamara Gerken of Sharpsburg, Ga.; three stepbrothers; and two stepsisters.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Valley Center District Cemetery, 28953 Miller Road in Valley Center.

Robert Tatum, 75

OCEANSIDE - Robert L. Tatum, 75, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.

Born July 15, 1931, in Bhoma, Texas, he lived in Oceanside for 56 years. He retired in 1986 as a lead cook at Naval Hospital on Camp Pendleton. He was a member of the Walker Chapel AME Church and the Masons in San Diego.

Mr. Tatum was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Odester Tatum.

He is survived by his companion of 47 years, Julia Pratt of Oceanside; sons Curtis Tatum and Darnell Pratt, both of Oceanside; daughters Diane Anderson of North Carolina, and Jean Moore of Mississippi; sister Eddie Johnson of Oceanside; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Walker Chapel AME Church with the Revs. C. Weaver and Phill Demery officiating.

George Enriquez, 68

VISTA - George Louis Enriquez, 68, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at his home.

Born Dec. 27, 1937, in Los Angeles, he lived in Vista for 26 years. He was an office manager for General Telephone for about 35 years.

Mr. Enriquez was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Redondo.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Violetta Enriquez of Vista; sons Richard Enriquez and Steven Enriquez, both of Vista; brothers Arthur Enriquez, Stanley Enriquez and Phillip Enriquez, all of Los Angeles; sisters Louise Wait of Las Vegas and Genevieve; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 9, at Allen Bros. Mortuary, Vista Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery in Oceanside with the Rev. Kenneth Kieffer officiating.

Skyler Reeves, 6

WILDOMAR - Skyler John Reeves, 6, died of cancer, Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Inland Valley Medical Center.

Born March 31, 2000, in Rancho Springs Medical Center, he lived in Wildomar all his life.

Skyler is survived by his parents, Rochelle and James Reeves of Wildomar; brothers Brandon Reeves, Dakota Reeves, Shelby Reeves and James Reeves; and grandparents Mona Judy of Lake Elsinore, Aileen of Bloomington, Ill., and Ed Oviedo and G.G. of La Mirada.

Visitation and viewing are scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Evans-Brown Mortuary, 126 E. Graham Ave. in Lake Elsinore. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Wildomar District Cemetery with John Duncan officiating.

Alee Marie Cox

Alee Marie Cox (Winchester) died in June 2006, in her Escondido home. She was born on February 12, 1951, to James E. Winchester and Phyllis Winchester in Pomona, California. Alee moved to Escondido in 1959 and graduated from Orange Glen High School in 1969. She was a self-employed hairdresser who enjoyed numerous needlework hobbies. She was a talented seamstress and had a gift for crafting beautiful needlepoint beyond description. Her artistic talents included needlework, clothing designing and china painting, and her attention to detail to these arts was superb. She always had numerous pets that she adored and showered with attention.

Alee always had a great sense of humor. She was a free spirit and a passionate woman. She always had a way of being in the center of every gathering and enjoyed the attention.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, James E. Winchester and Natalie Winchester; her mother, Phyllis Winchester; her brother, Jim A. Winchester; her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Dan Heid; niece Michelle Winchester-Middleton; nephew Michael Winchester; nieces Lisa Sauer, Andrea Roberts and Brenda White; and nephew Steven Heid.

A brief service will be held to say good-bye at the Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday, August 11, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.

Mildred L. Stetson

Mildred L. Stetson passed away August 5, 2006, in Sebastopol at the age of 76. Mildred lived in Long Beach for 45 years and worked at the post office for 35 years. She then moved to Oceanside for eight years and has been a resident of Sonoma County for the past two years.

She is survived by her niece, Irma and husband Gary Bachelor; grandniece Amanda Bachelor; nephew Gary and wife Kathy Greff; grandniece Nicole Greff; and grandnephew Garett Greff.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements under the direction of Pleasant Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, Sebastopol.
