OCEANSIDE -- The supplemental environmental report for the Oceanside Pier Resort is available for public review.

The report deals with the resort's potential impacts.

Residents have until Oct. 3 to submit comments on the report, which is available at the city's Civic Center, the city library on Mission Avenue and the city Planning Department.

The project calls for a complex near Oceanside's Municipal Pier with 132 timeshares, 32 hotel rooms, a restaurant and more than 7,000 square feet of commercial space on 1.5 acres bound by Pacific Street, Pier View Way, Civic Center Drive and Myers Street.

The City Council is expected to hold public hearings on the $42 million project later this year.
