OCEANSIDE -- A three-vehicle crash Friday evening sent two teenagers and two adults to the hospital, with at least two of the parties seriously injured, an Oceanside traffic officer said Saturday.
The crash on Mission Avenue at Douglas Drive involving a Hyundai Tiberon, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup and a GMC Yukon was reported a little after 10 p.m., Officer Mark Fullen said. The truck carrying a 15-year-old male and an 18-year-old male was overturned when traffic officers arrived, he said.
Four ambulances took two people to the trauma center at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, one person to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido and one person to Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and further details were not available Saturday.
