POWAY ---- Old computers, TVs, laptops and other electronic items will be accepted for recycling at an annual "e-waste" collection at St. Michael's Church in Poway this Saturday.

Items in working or nonworking condition can be dropped off for free from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 15546 Pomerado Road in Poway. The event is being organized by the Knights of Columbus Council.

Large appliances, household batteries and light bulbs will not be accepted.

Acceptable items include computer monitors, printers, phones, office electronics, microwaves, cell phones, VCRs, DVD players, wire, video game systems, automotive batteries, small appliances and any other miscellaneous electronic devices.
