RANCHO BERNARDO ---- A pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car while crossing the 15800 block of Pomerado Road has been identified as Edna Virginia Martinez De Cedillo, 45, of San Diego, according to the San Diego County medical examiner.
Martinez had her family with her when she was struck by a car at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
However, it's not clear how many children were with her, said Officer David Stafford of the San Diego Police Department.
No one else was injured in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle was not cited or arrested, police said. No alcohol or drugs were suspected in the incident.
