RANCHO BERNARDO ---- Authorities are seeking the public's help to identify a man who robbed a bank in Rancho Bernardo on Wednesday.
The man entered the Chase Bank branch at 16861 Bernardo Center Drive at about 12:40 p.m. wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt with a ski mask covering his face.
He approached a teller and displayed a silver-colored semi-automatic pistol, authorities said.
The man threw down a plastic food storage bag and ordered the teller to put money in it. After receiving the money, the man ran out of the bank.
He is described as a white male, about 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing dark pants, dark gloves and white sneakers, authorities said. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the FBI at 858-565-1255.
