SAN MARCOS -- A DUI/safety checkpoint is planned for Friday night, the Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
The checkpoint, at an unnamed location in the city, will be conducted from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday. Deputies will enforce California vehicle codes, including seat-belt laws, the release said.
