A 100-acre fire that reportedly started Monday on the Camp Pendleton forced the evacuation of residents and businesses on and near the sprawling Marine Corps base that hugs northern Oceanside. No injuries were reported. And no homes had been destroyed as of 8 a.m. Evacuees were being directed to the official Red Cross shelter at El Camino High School on Rancho Del Oro Drive in Oceanside.
