Taking Best Newcomer was Julio Jimenez of Winnetka for his "Chevy." The Best Youth award was presented to Alina Bertolina-Yerma of San Diego for her portrait.
Taking the Best of Show/Purchase Award in the plein air festival was Temecula artist Shawn McKelvey for his work "Old & New." Artists in this competition painted scenes of Old Town Temecula.
