VISTA -- A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a woman accused of embezzling more than $150,000 from her employer, Crime Stoppers officials announced Wednesday.

The woman, 34-year-old Julie L. Jackson, is accused of using a credit card belonging to her employer, New Education for the Workplace, to buy high-end clothes and $63,000 in Rolex watches in addition to renting a 2008 Chevy Suburban that she never returned, sheriff's officials said. The alleged embezzlement occurred in April.

Jackson is believed to have fled to Mexico initially but may be back in southern California now, sheriff's officials said. She has relatives in Oceanside and ties to Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Hemet and Palm Springs, the officials said.

She's described as white with brown hair and brown eyes. She's about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds, according to a description released by the sheriff's department.

She was last seen driving a black 2008 Chevy Suburban with California license plate 6AUU323, although sheriff's officials said she also may be driving a gray 2004 Jeep Cherokee with California license plate 5JPX477.
