POWAY -- The Poway Library will host a Fun Friday Flicks event today for local teens.

There is no charge to attend the event, which is the latest in a series aimed at drawing more young people into the library. Participants can enjoy popcorn and a classic Japanese animated film with Diana Wynne Jones, a British author of several fantasy novels for teens and adults.

Jones' book "Howl's Moving Castle" was adapted into a Japanese animated film that was released in the United States in 2005.
