The issue of whether Wildomar City Hall should continue operating on a four-day weekly schedule is expected once again to face the City Council's review Wednesday.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in City Hall, 23873 Clinton Keith Road, in Oak Creek Center.
The council looked at the policy of operating from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday in its Jan. 27 meeting. However, Councilwoman Sheryl Ade was absent from the meeting and the remaining four members split on the issue of whether to keep the four-day schedule or reopen City Hall on Fridays.
As a result of the 2-2 vote, the council must reconsider the issue.
In mid-October, the council authorized the four-day week, abandoning the traditional schedule of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The council agreed to evaluate the policy after three months, prompting the current review.
In his report to the council, City Manager Frank Oviedo recommends staying with the four-day week, while continuing to evaluate its advantages and weaknesses.
