Marriage and Prop. 8
Proposition 8 was voted on by the people of California, then became a law prohibiting gays
and lesbians from getting married. Why would a federal judge overturn California's gay marriage ban? Is he helping to read everyone's rights or just for the homosexuals?
In the dictionary, marriage means the institution whereby men and women are joined in a special kind of social and legal dependence for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family. Gay means male homosexual and lesbian means female homosexual. Now why would homosexuals wants to marry?
Their civil rights have been instituted as men and women. Why would homosexuals segregate themselves, then claim their rights? Biologically, homosexuals are men and women. If a gay marries a lesbian, there will be no problem because it is a marriage between a man and a woman and this is their civil right. ...
Homosexuals must stop agitating about the law of marriage that has already been proven and voted on by the people of California. Homosexuals are causing the world to tumble instead of helping make the law right. This is my idea; what is yours?

Support our City Council
There has been some discussion lately about what kind of role our current Temecula City Council should take in pursuing the investigation of the obvious influence of Granite Construction over the Local Agency Formation Commission in the annexation application.
Our Council has operated responsibly in the management of our assets and have been fiscally conservative. Because of that, we are not threatened with financial crisis like the rest of our governments are and had the funds available for the annexation application that was in the master plan since the city was formed. They are all fully committed to making this the best city it can possibly be — for us.
They are not filling their own pockets, and instead, in the seven years since I have lived here, have built a state-of-the-art theater in Old Town, a vibrant library and a new sports park big enough to host statewide tournaments. They are the best possible team to protect us from Liberty Quarry. I agree that we should go after LAFCO, but the council can't responsibly spend our money to do it.
Please, be wise citizens and support our current city council when it is time to vote.
