Rename, then abort terrorists
Whether you call it liberalism or progressivism, it still remains a twisted world view where up is down, good is bad, guilt is innocence, and sinner is saint.
Case and point: our fresh ingenue president, Barack Hussein Obama, has stated his desire to heal the nation's discourse and to obliterate America's red state/blue state divisions.
Yet, Obama's first acts as president include opening the floodgates of taxpayer dollars to fund international abortions and coddling murderous terrorists.
So, according to Obama's worldview, innocent unborn babies are not entitled to any due process or rights whatsoever. Yet, the miscreants who relish in knocking down skyscrapers and sawing off the heads of innocent captives will be moved stateside and afforded the same rights as O.J. Simpson.
What's next, voting rights and college tuition for terrorists?
Here's a sane solution for a twisted and upside down world. Reclassify these terrorists as fetuses and then abort them immediately. While we're at it, let's also reclassify unborn babies as enemy combatants with the guarantee that armies of ACLU lawyers will be there to defend their innocent lives.
These are sensible solutions in a world where up is down and right is wrong.

Theory must withstand reviews
Gerald Summers (Letters, Jan. 25) wrote that creationists engage in "quote mining" to make evolutionists look like they don't believe in evolution. That is not true.
Nobody doubts that Richard Dawkins and others with the same mind-set believe in evolution, but when they make statements about evolution's problems, of course they are going to be quoted. They can deny later that they meant what they said, but it just makes you wonder if they were telling the truth then or now.
Evolutionists say the darndest things, then try to crawl out from under their words to satisfy their peers who probably asked, "What the hell are you saying? It's true, but you can't give creationists such ammunition!"
Mr. Summers continues writing that evolution theory does not condemn religion. Not true again. Anyone who has seen a Darwin fish symbol knows that. Many evolutionists are outspoken atheists who take glee in attacking God, denying he exists, but blaming him for all of life's problems.
When men are prevented from asking questions, expressing opinions and pursuing evidence that contradicts the theory of evolution, it ceases to be science. If the theory of evolution cannot survive without its adherents censoring evidence they don't like and engaging in endless personal attacks against those with a different opinion, then that theory is doomed to irrelevance and eventual rejection.

Are there volunteers for a cleanup?
I got a call from a wheelchair-bound man lives in Temecula who is frustrated about the unkempt, abandoned repos in his neighborhood. I wanted to help, so I drove over to take a look and agreed wholeheartedly with his assessment.
Unfortunately, I also noted that the yards off Margarita Road were in Temecula and not Murrieta, and with the workload in Murrieta, I am not sure my volunteers are ready to branch out into another city right now as we slowly move from neighborhood to neighborhood in Murrieta.
Both houses are located on Rainbow Creek, off Rustic Glen Road. Both yards need a lot of work and one needs several palm trees trimmed, etc.
The man who called me would like to do it, but is unable to do so, and the banks and real estate agents are overwhelmed with inventories. Actually, I do not think either of the two houses had For Sale signs yet.
If anyone is willing to help, please call me and I will give you the exact addresses. This is about Neighbors Helping Neighbors, not about whose job it is, etc. You can make a difference in the look of this street and in the life of one very frustrated Temecula resident.
Call me at 677-2430.
