WESTMINSTER - The Westminster woman and her baby daughter who were killed in their home were identified Saturday.

Coroners investigators used dental records to identify Thuy B. Pham, 33, and then used DNA tests to identify her daughter, Hailey. The two people were found in an apartment at 15130 Brookhurst St. last week, the Orange County Register reported.

The two, whose bodies were found Thursday in their Little Saigon apartment, were believed to have been dead more than week.

"We're trying to contact people that may have had contact with her and the baby, and we're just trying to cover all aspects of the investigation," Westminster police Lt. Al Panella told ABC7 yesterday.

The two may have been stabbed to death, but autopsy reports were withheld pending toxicology tests.

A woman who said she worked in a Hawthorne nail salon with the victim - whose family is in Vietnam - said her colleague was in the midst of a bitter divorce.

The odor of decomposing bodies alerted neighbors.
