Community/School News/Social Scene If your club, organization or school plans an event that is open to the public, send a news release 10-14 days in advance. If your group or school recently held an event or recognized a member, send a photo. Include the names of everyone in the photo, naming them from left to right as you view the photo, and please name the person who took the photo. Also, please include a contact name and phone number. Community Sports We publish community sports information every Thursday and Sunday. Sports results should be provided by the league chairman, and include first and last names of participants. E-mail is preferred, but typed materials and photos (non-returnable) may be dropped off at, or mailed to, the Escondido office. Digital photos must be in JPEG format and 200-plus dpi.
