LANCASTER -- Robert Perry drove in a game-high three runs, Javis Diaz collected three hits and the Storm won their third game in a row, 12-4, over the JetHawks on Sunday afternoon at Clear Channel Stadium.
The game also marked the third time in a row the Storm (7-4) have scored 10 or more runs at Lancaster's hitter-friendly ballpark, also known as The Hangar. On Sunday, they did it with 16 hits and four JetHawks' errors.
Cedric Hunter, Eric Sogard, Jeremy Hunt and Sam Carter each collected two hits, and Perry tripled and Hunt doubled. That made a winner out of John Madden (2-0), who struck out four batters in a scoreless 2 1/3 innings of relief work.
JetHawks starter Travis Beazley (0-2) didn't make it out of the second inning. He allowed eight runs -- three earned -- on seven hits and a walk, with five runs coming across in the first inning.
Storm starter Brooks Dunn received a no-decision after allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk in 4 2/3 innings.
Michael DeMark allowed an unearned run in the eighth inning and Dylan Axelrod pitched a scoreless ninth.
