Kickoff: 1 p.m.

Radio: KKSM 1320

Records: Palomar 7-2, 3-2, Orange Coast 5-3, 1-3

Last meeting: In 2008, Palomar won 41-14.

At a glance: QB Matt Christian (Carlsbad High) left last week's 20-17 loss to Fullerton with a broken collarbone and is out. He's being replaced by Nate Ong (San Pasqual). Ong has experience, though, completing 84-of-126 passes for 940 yards and 7 TDs. WR Martavious Lee has 40 catches for 654 yards and 7 TDs, while RB Orenzo Davis has emerged with 106 carries for 756 yards and 9 TDs. ... Orange Coast is coming off a 52-14 loss to Saddleback last week. Pirates QB Kyle Manning threw a school-record 50 passes in the loss, completing 19 for 231 yards. RB Ray Holley has 1,144 yards for the Pirates. ... Two teams from the Southern Division will make the playoffs. Palomar, ranked 17th in the nation, could finish in a three-way tie for second place, but need Grossmont and Saddleback to stumble. The Comets also could be selected to play in a bowl game.

Prediction: Palomar 35, Orange Coast 14
