He went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in a 13-3 win over El Camino, 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 3-1 win over El Camino and 3-for-4 in an 8-3 loss to El Camino.

Cathedral Catholic -- Baseball

The senior went 2-for-5 with five RBIs in a 13-2 win over La Jolla and 3-for-5 with three RBIs in a 19-2 win over La Jolla.

Carlsbad -- Boys volleyball

The sophomore setter was named the MVP of the annual Scripps Ranch Tournament after leading the Lancers to a 26-24, 25-19 win over St. Augustine in the finals for their second Scripps Ranch title in three seasons.

Carlsbad -- Softball

The senior threw a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over La Costa Canyon and a seven-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a 4-3 win over Bonita Vista.

La Costa Canyon -- Boys lacrosse

He had six goals and an assist in wins over Mt. Carmel, San Marcos and Palo Verde, including two goals and an assist against Mt. Carmel and three goals against San Marcos.

La Costa Canyon -- Girls lacrosse

Candelaria had 11 goals in three games -- wins over Coronado and Westview and a loss to Amador Valley. Mills had eight goals and an assist in those three games.

Torrey Pines -- Girls lacrosse

Becky had 10 goals and two assists in wins over Carlsbad, Rancho Bernardo and Beckman. Katy had 10 goals and two assists in those games, including five goals against Beckman.

Carlsbad -- Boys volleyball

He was named to the all-tournament team of the annual Scripps Ranch Tournament after collecting nine kills in a 26-24, 25-19 win over St. Augustine in the finals for the Lancers' second Scripps Ranch title in three seasons.

Carlsbad -- Boys track

The senior established a new PR in the shot put by throwing 59-8 in a dual meet against Rancho Buena Vista. He came back two days later to post the top shot mark of the day (55-4 1/2) at the Jaguar Invitational.

Torrey Pines -- Boys tennis

He teamed with doubles partner Jacob Johnson to win 6-0, 6-0 in a 16-0 victory over Escondido, won 6-2, 6-0 in singles in a 16-2 victory over San Pasqual, and 6-0, 6-0 in singles in a 15-3 victory over Mission Hills.

La Costa Canyon -- Boys golf

The junior earned co-medalist honors with a 2-over 38 at Pala Mesa Country Club in a 197-198 victory over Fallbrook.

The senior outfielder was 6-for-9 in a three-game sweep of Escondido, including a double, triple and three RBIs.

The freshman was 8-for-12 with five runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base in four games as the Falcons improved to 15-3.

Tri-City Christian -- Baseball

He was 7-for-8 in wins over the Rock and Escondido Charter, including a triple and three RBIs against the Rock and two doubles and four RBIs against Escondido Charter.

Marquis Sumpter

Fallbrook -- Boys track

The senior sprinter won the 100 meters (11.04) and 200 (21.99) at the morning session of the Jaguar Invitational.

Austin Wynns

Poway -- Baseball

He went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 9-3 win over Carlsbad and 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs in a 10-1 win over Carlsbad.

Brad Haynal

Rancho Bernardo -- Baseball

The junior went 2-for-3 in a 7-2 win over Rancho Buena Vista, 1-for-1 with a homer and one RBI in a 9-2 loss to Rancho Buena Vista and 4-for-6 with a homer, four RBIs and became the first Bronco to hit for the cycle in a 20-3 win over Rancho Buena Vista.

Mt. Carmel -- Softball

The senior outfielder was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run and three RBIs in a 13-0 win over Valley Center, and 4-for-4 with a home run, double and four RBIs in a 22-1 win over Oceanside.

Bree Williams

Mt. Carmel -- Softball

The sophomore pitcher combined on a five-inning no-hitter with Alyssa Abrenica in a 13-0 victory over Valley Center. Williams went four innings, striking out seven and walking two. She also threw three hitless innings in a 22-1 win over Oceanside.

Joe Cooks

Mission Hills -- Boys track

The senior won the 100 meters at the afternoon session of the Jaguar Invitational in 10.55 seconds, the No. 2 time in the state this year. He also won the 200 (21.73) and anchored the 400 relay (43.17) to victory.

Tyler Moore

Escondido -- Boys track

He won the long jump (20-10 1/2) and triple jump (44-9) at the morning session of the Jaguar Invitational.

Alex Templeton

Poway -- Boys track

He went 6-9 to win the high jump in the morning session of the Jaguar Invitational, establishing a meet record and a personal best.

Emily Aragon

Escondido -- Girls track

She posted the best marks of the day at the Jaguar Invitational in the discus (127-4) and shot put (37-7 1/2).

Demi Lucero

Escondido -- Girls track

She won the 200 meters (25.91) and 400 (58.37) at the morning session of Saturday's Jaguar Invitational.

Escondido -- Softball

Lemay hurled a complete game and had an RBI in a 4-3 win over Rancho Bernardo and pitched a perfect seventh inning to earn the save in a 6-3 win over Rancho Buena Vista. Akamine was 4-for-7 in the two games with a double, triple, home run and two RBIs.

San Pasqual -- Baseball

Villalobos was 8-for-10 with three doubles, a home run and seven RBIs in three games against Fallbrook -- two wins and a loss. Baird was 5-for-9 with two doubles, two home runs and three RBIs.

Nick England

Mt. Carmel -- Boys volleyball

The junior outside hitter recorded six of his 17 kills in the fifth game as the Sundevils pulled out a 25-13, 25-16, 16-25, 20-25, 15-10 victory over Poway. He also had a team-high 13 kills in a three-game sweep of Orange Glen.
