Mary Lee

Torrey Pines > Softball

The sophomore co-captain went 8-for-10 with three runs, three RBIs and a stolen base in three victories. Lee, a third baseman, went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 2-0 win over Ramona, 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs in a 12-3 win over San Dieguito Academy, and 3-for-3 with two runs and a stolen base in a 4-0 win over Vista to help Torrey Pines improve its school-record-best start to 8-1.

La Costa Canyon > Boys golf

Moeller shot a 3-under-par 33 at the La Costa Resort and Spa in wins over Canyon Crest Academy and Aliso Niguel. Epstein shot a 33 at La Costa in a win over Cathedral Catholic. And Kearney shot a 2-under 34 at StoneRidge Country Club in a win over Poway.

La Costa Canyon > Baseball

Evans was 7-for-9 in two games. He was 4-for-5 with three doubles and three RBIs in a 15-3 win over Point Loma and 3-for-4 with a home run in a 10-0 win against Scripps Ranch.

Keegan Ryan

Carlsbad > Boys track

Ryan broke a meet record at the Falcons Relays with a time of 48.95 seconds in the 400 meters.

Will Swanner

La Costa Canyon > Baseball

He was 6-for-8 in two games. He was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs in a win over Point Loma and 3-for-4 with two homers and three RBIs against Scripps Ranch.Â

Cathedral Catholic > Baseball

The senior went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI in a 6-5 win over El Capitan and 2-for-2 with two RBIs in a 14-6 win over Poway in the final of the Hilltop Tournament.

Chelsea Weedman

Cathedral Catholic > Girls swimming

The junior set a meet record in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2 minutes, 3.51 seconds at the Sundevil Invitational. She also won the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.63.

El Camino > Softball

In the North County Tournament, the senior went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs in a 9-0 win over San Marcos and 3-for-4 with an RBI in a 6-2 win over La Costa Canyon.

Josh Sturgis

Carlsbad > Boys lacrosse

He had four goals and an assist in a 14-6 win over Mira Mesa and three goals in a 12-2 win over El Capitan.

Reid McCallum

Canyon Crest Academy > Boys swimming

He set a meet record at the Sundevil Invitational with a time of 21.71 seconds in the 50 freestyle.

Hiro Yamamoto

La Costa Canyon > Boys tennis

He won his singles sets 6-0, 6-0 in a 14-2 win over Rancho Buena Vista and 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 in a 15-3 win over Vista. He also teamed up to win his sets 6-1, 6-3 in a 9-0 win over Scripps Ranch in the San Pasqual Doubles Tournament.

Josh Anderson

Poway > Baseball

The junior went 1-for-3 with an RBI in a 4-3 win over Mission Bay, 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs in an 11-5 win over Granite Hills and 3-for-3 with two home runs and two RBIs in a 14-6 loss to Cathedral Catholic in the final of the Hilltop Tournament.

Haley Steele

Poway > Softball

In the North County Tournament, the sophomore went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 4-0 win over Mission Hills and 2-for-3 in a 5-0 win over Escondido. In the Cougar Classic, she was 1-for-2 with an RBI in an 8-0 win over Escondido in the semifinals and 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 5-0 win over Mt. Carmel in the final.

Patrick Nowak

Mt. Carmel > Boys swimming

The senior set a meet record in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:52.78 at the Sundevil Invitational.

Reed Ressler

Westview > Baseball

He went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs in an 8-2 win over Sweetwater. He then went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in a 7-6 loss to Patrick Henry.

Andrew Bryant

Christian L.I.F.E. Academy > Baseball

He went 8-for-11 in three games, including 4-for-4 with three doubles and six RBIs in a 21-6 win over Guajome Park Academy.

Rancho Bernardo > Softball

In the North County Tournament, the sophomore went 2-for-3 with an RBI in an 8-7 win over Ramona, 1-for-4 in a 6-5 win over Mt. Carmel and 1-for-4 with an RBI in an 11-3 win over San Pasqual.

Katie Wilson

Fallbrook > Softball

The senior pitcher went 3-0, throwing a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts against Montgomery in a 15-0 victory. She threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts versus Our Lady of Peace and a three-hitter with six strikeouts Friday versus Serra.

Rancho Buena Vista > Boys golf

He earned medalist honors after shooting a 1-under 143 at the two-day Hilltop Invitational and led the Longhorns to the team victory at Salt Creek Golf Course.

Tim Berry

San Marcos > Baseball

The senior threw a no-hitter and struck out 17 batters in a 5-0 win over Calexico. It was his second straight shutout.

David Darling

Mt. Carmel > Boys lacrosse

He scored four goals in a 7-5 win over Monte Vista and five goals with one assist in a 11-7 win over Santana.

Alan Li

Mission Hills > Boys golf

He shot a 1-over 37 at the Twin Oaks Golf Club and took medalist honors in a team loss to El Camino. Later, he shot a 1-under 35 at Twin Oaks in a team loss to Carlsbad.

Trent Williams

Rancho Bernardo > Boys swimming

The freshman set two meet records at the Sundevil Invitational, recording a time of 48.02 in the 100 freestyle and 1:44.13 in the 200 freestyle.
