The junior tied a school record with six RBIs and had a home run in an 8-6 win over Westview, he doubled in a run in a 10-1 win over Sweetwater and he hit a home run and drove in three runs in a 7-4 win over University City.

The junior tied a school record with five hits in a 10-1 win over Sweetwater, went 2-for-3 in an 8-6 win over Westview and 1-for-3 with an RBI in a 7-4 win over University City.

The senior went 1-for-2 with two RBIs in a 13-2 win over Carlsbad, 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs in an 11-0 win over West Hills and 4-for-4 with three triples, a home run and six RBIs in a 17-2 win over Monte Vista in the Aztec-Foothiller Tournament.

Santa Fe Christian -- Baseball

He went 3-for-5 with four runs scored and four RBIs in a 18-8 win over High Tech High and 1-for-3 with one run scored in a 6-0 win over Horizon.

The senior scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Oxnard Rio Mesa and one goal in a 4-2 loss to La Canada St. Francis in the Southern California Regional Division II championship game.

The freshman won the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.88 seconds at the Bronco Invitational.

The freshmen left-handed pitcher threw a complete game no-hitter with only a sixth-inning, full-count walk denying her of a perfect game against preseason No. 5-ranked Steele Canyon in a 7-0 win. She followed that with three innings of relief to get the save in a 5-4 victory over preseason No. 7 Rancho Bernardo. At he plate, Hynes is batting .375 (6-for-16) with five runs scored and five RBIs for the 5-1 Falcons.

La Costa Canyon -- Baseball

The senior left-hander threw five shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a 9-0 win over Mira Mesa. At the plate, he was 4-for-9 with a pair of RBIs in three wins.

The sprinter won the 100-meters at the Bronco Invitational, clocking 10.91 seconds.

He posted a fine early-season mark at the Bronco Invitational, winning the pole vault with a jump of 14-feet, 1-inch.

Both Bulldog golfers earned medalist honors last week, with Moberg shooting an even par 36 in a win over San Pasqual and Massey shooting a 1-under 35 in a Valley League victory over Mt. Carmel.

She went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in a 7-3 win over Cathedral Catholic, 3-for-4 with three RBIs in a 9-0 win over Southwest and 2-for-4 with 1 RBI in a 8-3 win over La Costa Canyon in the Cougar Classic.

Christian L.I.F.E. Academy -- Baseball

He went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBIs in a 19-2 win over Army-Navy Academy. He then went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs in a 9-7 win over Calvin Christian.

Westview -- Baseball

The senior went 2-for-4 with two doubles in a 8-6 loss to El Camino. He then went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in a 6-5 win over University City and followed that up with a 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in a 13-6 loss to Otay Ranch.

Mission Hills -- Baseball

The senior left-hander threw five shutout innings and went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs in a 16-15 win over Patrick Henry. He was 1-for-2 in a 7-2 win over Coronado.

Ramona -- Baseball

He went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a 9-5 win over Eastlake. He then went 2-for-4 with one RBI in a 3-2 win over Helix.

Kortney Ross

Westview -- Girls track

The junior cleared 11 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault to claim first place at the Bronco Invitational.

San Marcos -- Baseball

The two pitchers for the Knights pitched back-to-back shutouts. Berry threw a six-inning complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts in a 11-0 win over El Centro Southwest. Munro struck out 11 and walked one in a 2-0 win over San Pasqual.

Haley Steele

Poway -- Softball

The sophomore went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in an 8-6 win over Torrey Pines, 1-for-3 with an RBI in a 3-1 win over Granite Hills and 1-for-3 in a 2-0 win over Point Loma in the Cougar Classic.

St. Joseph's Academy -- Girls track

She won the high jump with an effort of 5-foot, 4-inches at the Bronco Invitational.

Escondido -- Girls track

The senior posted a fine early-season mark in winning the shot put at the Bronco Invitation with a heave of 40-feet, 1/2-inch.
