Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas has extended its early-bird special for the first time, allowing guests to book houseboat vacations through May 15.

The special is valid on rentals of standard Adventurer and/or Discovery series houseboats only and offer guests the following savings:

- Book an Adventurer houseboat and 19-foot powerboat with a five-day package for $4,300, or a four-day package for $3,500, and save up to 40 percent.

- Book a 59-foot Discovery houseboat and 19-foot powerboat with a five-day package for only $5,400, or a four-day package for $4,400, and save more than 30 percent.

All packages include in-person houseboat navigation training and instruction and are valid on arrivals through Oct. 31, 2007.
