A July 6 editorial, about a city of San Diego program that tickets drivers for running red lights based upon a photograph taken electronically, indicated that San Marcos is considering such a program. San Marcos is not. The program under consideration in San Marcos would put flashing red lights at intersections. An auto that runs a red light would make the red lights flash, and a police officer would then issue the ticket, if the officer observed the infraction. We apologize.
